5.  Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville’s nightlife and music-themed museums are perfect for music-loving couples. Visit the famous Country Music Hall of Fame or the Johnny Cash Museum. If you’re a rowdy pair, hit the raucous honky-tonks on Broadway.

Calmer couples might prefer the live concert and radio program the Grand Ole Opry. Stroll along the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and take in the view of downtown Nashville. Visit Centennial Park and its impressive replica of the Parthenon too.

6.  Savannah, Georgia

Savannah is highlighted by 22 striking town squares, striking antebellum architecture, and an excellent food scene. Stroll through Forsyth Park and down the unofficial “most beautiful street” in the nation–Jones Street. See historic Mercer-Williams House from the novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Hold tight to each other on a ghost tour. Explore the Telfair Museum of Art. Splurge on a romantic dinner at The Olde Pink House or The Grey too.
