24. Tiger Leaping Gorge, China

Tiger Leaping Gorge is ensconced between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain. The gorge is 3,900 meters (12,800 feet) deep and 24 kilometers (15 miles) long. It features rocky cliffs, piercing blue water, and well-serviced footpaths. Nevertheless, the canyon still retains an atmosphere of untamed wilderness.
