Nestled in the village of Snowshoe, this resort looks like something right out of a vintage travel destinations brochure. Nearly 5,000 feet above sea level, this is one of the best places for skiers to be from December through March. If you’re not a hardcore skier, don’t worry.

Other options include adventure dining in the backcountry, horseback riding, snowmobile tours, and snow tubing. The resort has a special deal until March 23rd. It’s $69.00 per night, skiing is included.
