Other options include adventure dining in the backcountry, horseback riding, snowmobile tours, and snow tubing. The resort has a special deal until March 23rd. It’s $69.00 per night, skiing is included.

 

2.Ruby’s Inn, Utah

You will find this place in beautiful Bryce Canyon. Blanketed in snow the place is even more stunning. Here you can experience something unique.  

You can spend the day hiking through the canyons of rugged red rock formations, which provide an incredible contrast to the winter snow. The famous hotel also offers horseback riding, ice-skating, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, and more. Check-in before March 26th and you get 50 percent off of each additional night after paying for your first.

 

3.Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico

This picturesque place is located about a half hour outside the artsy town of Taos. This is a nice snow-covered retreat with plenty of open spaces. Here you can enjoy snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, tubing, and, naturally, skiing. You would be hard-pressed to find a lot of special package deals here. Still, Natural Retreats offers rental cabins for between four and 17 guests. Rates start at $149.00 per night.

 

4.Boyne Mountain, Michigan

Boyne Mountain offers guests all the expected activities including ice skating, snow tubing, snowshoeing, and skiing. They also offer additional adventurous activities such as winter zip-lining and the exciting Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park (for those who need a break from the icy outdoors). You can sign up for a limited-time Ski & Stay Package starting at $126.00 per guest, each night.  

If this doesn’t sound like a good deal, keep in mind that this family-friendly place allows kids under the age of 9 to sleep and ski free of charge. Kids between 9 and 16 get discounts on lift tickets and lodging too. Your price also includes admission for snow tubing and the complimentary breakfast buffet.

 

5.Angel Fire Resort, New Mexico

Here you will find over 500 acres of ski slopes. You can also enjoy ice fishing, sledding, snowboarding, snowshoeing. and snow tubing too. What’s more, the town of Angel Fire also offers snowmobile tours and hosts horse-drawn sleigh rides. Through March 18th, you can get 10 percent off both your stay and lift tickets. Rent a chalet for under $179.00 per night. Kids 5 and under ski for free.

6.Silver Mountain Resort, Idaho

This resort spans a total of 1,600 acres. Nestled at the foot of a pair of mountains, next to the historic town of Kellogg, you can go skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. You can also enjoy the state’s biggest indoor water park, which is almost as big as a professional football field. 

With an overall temperature of 84 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s perfect after a day on the slopes. On the weekend, you can score rates of under $95.00 per person. That includes your room, lift ticket, and an unlimited pass to the water park for up to four people. During the week the rates drop to $69.00 per person each night. 

7.Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This legendary winter hot spot is frequently ranked as one of North America’s top ski destinations. Both the nearby Grand Teton National Park and the charming town itself have drawn celebrities here in the past.
