The 11 Best Family Vacations In Oregon

1. Portland

This city offers vacationers an assortment of attractions and activities for visitors of various ages and tastes. Sure, it’s famous for its tree-hugging hipsters and imaginative artisans, but it’s family-friendly. The child-approved attractions here include the Portland Children’s Museum and the Oregon Zoo.

It’s reputed to have one of the most tourist-friendly public transport systems in the US. Thus, renting a car is not recommended unless absolutely necessary though because it can be expensive. In fact, while Portland’s home to some of the state’s best family hotels, some of them charge a lot for parking. Some travel writers recommend staying at the Sentinel, a Provenance Hotel.
